A-10C Squadron Conducts Final Flight
The U.S Air Force 357th Fighter Squadron has conducted it's final flight with the A-10C Thunderbolt II at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base on July 29th, 2026. This marks the end of five decades of concurrent operations of the type and the ending of the primary training hub for the type. Depot maintenance for the aircraft type ended in February 2026. Despite this the National Defense Authorization Act has extended the A-10's service through 2030.
