Head of SkyBlazer, Social Media Manager & Editor - Emmett Lopez
Emmett Lopez is a Honolulu, HI based aviation photographer. A junior in high school, he enjoys spotting both commercial and military aircraft, with an emphasis on the latter. He has been into aviation for the majority of his life, participating in activities and hobbies related to the topic such as remote controlled flying, model building, memorabilia collecting, museum visiting, and photography, which he started in 2020. Emmett's favorite aviation photography experience was being invited behind the scenes of the United States Air Force's 19th and 199th fighter squadrons in order to photograph the iconic F-22 Raptors in their natural habitat, the flightline. Being based in Hawaii, Emmett is in a prime position to photograph many domestic and foreign military aircraft transferring to and from Asia, so he's always shooting something new and interesting. Through his photos, he aims to capture both the presence and power of the aircraft while still maintaining a unique and sometimes abstract style.
